I hate smoking

but I secretly want to try.

Yum!

On Thursday, my team and I made a Strawberry Sour Cream Streusel Cake:

(good cake, bad picture)

I took a fairly large piece, about 1/4 of the cake, to take home with me. At the train station, a woman stopped me and asked about what I had made. She was really excited about what I showed her, so I decided to give her the whole thing. She thanked me profusely and wondered how she came to be so lucky! haha. We got into separate cars when the train came. At one of the stops, I looked out my window and saw the woman sitting down, holding the huge chunk of cake up to her face with biggest smile. Exactly like this, but a piece of cake, instead of the sandwich:
I don't know if she enjoyed it, since the train started moving and left the station, but it was the best thing I've seen all week.**

**I've also seen an almost-impromptu performance art dance piece on Fig/7th, and a pigeon humping another pigeon. I will post those later.

Oh Noes

I had some good pictures that I was going to post up of a visit to San Pedro, including a poor fish that I stunned with my flash. He remained in the same position for 20+ minutes...he might even still be in the same spot now.

Anyway, I uploaded my pictures, but in the end, they somehow weren't saved anywhere on my computer and were deleted from my camera. They weren't extraordinary pictures, but they captured a good time that Albert, Wilson, and I had. I can't help but be irritated and a little sad about it.

Super Hangover Monday was remedied with homemade Racial Equality cookies(see below) and Guitar Hero.

Were we drinking again?

Yesterday, I went to Koreatown to go meet someone I have been talking to on the intranets. Her name is Sara and she's really awesome and nice! I saw some funny sounding names on the way there:
  1. Dong-a Book Plaza (please don't)
  2. Soot Bull Jeep (haha)
  3. Ham Hung Restaurant
I am sure they are all Korean names - I'm just easily amused.

Also, on the way home, passing through the Garment district, a white pseudo-hipster walks by the bus. One member of a pre-teen hispanic trio in the back of the bus comments loudly: "white-ass motherfucker! White shit............white shit"

Wow.

*Racial Equality cookies are basically chocolate chip cookies that also have white chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.

I'm scratchin'

"Is he the Boss? I thought someone else was the boss?"

"No. He's The Boss. Better recognize."

"Okay."

p.s.
Albert wears skorts.

p.s.s.
tomorrow is Super Hangover Monday, and I've already gotten it started.
